Ünlü oyuncu, 2008 yılında 80. doğumgününden haftalar sonra felç geçirmişti. II. Dünya Savaşı'na katılmamak için yaşını küçülten oyuncu 19 Temmuz 2014 tarihinde Brentwood'daki evinde 86 yaşında yaşama veda etti.[3]
