Proton ilgisi

Proton ilgisi (E_pa şeklinde sembolize edilir), bir anyon, nötr atom ya da molekülün, gaz fazındayken proton ile reaksiyonunda meydana gelen entalpi değişiminin negatifidir. Bu reaksiyonlar her zaman ekzotermiktir.[1] Bu reaksiyonlara örnek olarak:

{\ce {A- + H+ -> HA}}

{\ce {B + H+ -> BH+}}

verilebilir.
