Margot Kidder

Margaret Ruth Kidder (d.17 Ekim 1948; Yellowknife - ö. 13 Mayıs 2018; Livingston, Montana, ABD), Dünyaca ünlü Kanadalı-Amerikalı oyuncu.[1].[2] Superman filmleri serisindeki "Lois Lane" karakteriyle özdeşleşmiştir.

Kidder 2005 yılında ABD vatandaşlığına geçti. Açık sözlü bir siyasi, çevreci ve savaş karşıtı aktivistti[3] ve hayatının sonuna kadar siyasi ve aktivist girişimlere katılmaya devam etti. Kidder 13 Mayıs 2018'de, 69 yaşında, Livingston, Montana'daki evinde alkol ve aşırı dozda uyuşturucu alarak intihar etti.[4] Daha sonra Kidder'in cenazesi yakıldı ve külleri, kardeşi John tarafından Kanada'nın yanı sıra Montana'daki çocukluğunu geçirdiği mekanlara dağıtılmıştır.
