Solanum nelsonii[1] (genellikle Solanum nelsoni yanlış yazılır), yaygın isimleri pōpolo [2] ve Nelson at otudur, Solanum cinsinin bir parçası olan, kısmen odunsu, genişleyen, çalı benzeri çok yıllık bir bitkidir. Zehirlidir ve Pasifik Adaları'na özgüdür. Mercan molozlarında kıyı bölgelerinde saf kuma doğru alçakta büyür.

Solanum nelsonii, 30 Eylül 2016'da ABD Balık ve Yaban Hayatı Servisi tarafından bulunan her yerde nesli tükenmekte olan bir tür olarak listelenmiştir.[3] Pōpolo, Hawaii eyaleti ve Kuzeybatı Hawai Adaları çevresindeki restorasyon projelerinde kullanılmaktadır.
