Tarihçe

14 Aralık 1999 yılında kurulmuştur, Gameloft cep telefonlarına oyun geliştiren ve yayınlayan bir şirkettir.

Gameloft şirketi, Guillemot kardeşler tarafından kuruldu. Ubisoft, öncelikle oyunları Cep telefonu'na uyumlu hale getirmekte, ondan sonra; Java, BREW, Symbian OS(N-Gage) gibi platformlarla satışa sunmaktadır. Ayrıca Oyun konsolu'na uygun oyunları da üreten Gameloft; Sony PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, Xbox 360, Zeebo, iOS, WebOS, Android, Windows Phone, Bada, BlackBerry OS, Mac OS X, ve Windows PC platform oyunları da üretmektedir.

Ayrıca da tasarladıkları Multiplayer oyunlar sayesinde Gameloft oyunlarına sahip olan herkes Bluetooth'la rahatlıkla karşılıklı oynamaktadır. Gameloft, oyunları Türkiye'ye ve 80'den fazla ülkeye dağıtmaktadır.

Şu an bünyesinde 4300 çalışanı bulunmakta. Şirket 2005'te 46.6m € kâr etmiştir. 2010 yılında tam 101.3m € kâr etmiştir. 2003 yılından beri şirket kârdadır.
