Dennis Hopper
Dennis Hopper (17 Mayıs 1936 - 29 Mayıs 2010), Akademi Ödülü adaylığı bulunan Amerikalı oyuncu ve film yapımcısıdır. Hopper genellikle sinirli akli dengesinde sorunları bulunan rollerde görünür. Blue Velvet, Hoosiers, Speed, Apocalypse Now ve Easy Rider ve 24 dizisindeki Victor Drazen rolleri ile tanınır. Hopper ayrıca Grand Theft Auto: Vice City oyunundaki Steve Scott karakterini seslendirdi. 29.05.2010'da metastaz yapan prostat kanserine bağlı komplikasyonlar sonucu Los Angeles şehrindeki evinde hayata veda etmiştir.

Biyografi
İlk yılları
Marjorie Mae ve Jay Millard Hopper'ın oğlu olan Hopper Dodge City, Kansas'ta doğdu. Hopper bir çiftlikte büyüdü sonrasında annesinin cankurtaran eğitmeni ve babasının postane yöneticisi olarak çalıştığı San Diego'ya taşındı. Danbury, Connecticut'taki Wooster School'a gitti. Ardından Helix High School'a devam etti. Burada oyunculuğa ilgi duymaya başladı ve San Diego'daki Old Globe Theatre'da ve New York'taki Actors Studio'da eğitim aldı.
