Brenda Fricker

Brenda Fricker, (17 Şubat 1945) Oscar Ödülü sahibi İrlandalı aktris.

Fricker, 17 Şubat 1945'te Dublin, İrlanda’da dünyaya gelmiştir. Gazeteci bir ailede büyümüştür. Bundan dolayı gençliğinde gazeteci olmaya yöneldi. Irish Times gazetesinde sanat editörü asistanlığı yaptı. Asıl hedefi başarılı bir muhabir olmaktı. Oyunculuk kariyeri 1964 yılında Of Human Bondage adlı filmde küçük bir rolle başladı. 1989'da en iyi yardımcı kadın oyuncu Oscar ödülünü aldığı My Left Foot adlı filmde Christy Brown'un annesi rolündeydi. Daha sonraları sinema filmleri ve dizilerinde rol aldı.
