Barnaby Rogerson

Barnaby Rogerson (d. 17 Mayıs 1960) is a Britanyalı yazar, televizyon sunucusu ve yayıncı.

Rogerson, Dunfermline'de doğmuştur. Saint Andrews Üniversitesi'nde Orta Çağ okumuştur. Fas, Tunus, Kıbrıs, Libya ve İstanbul için seyahat kitaplarının yazarı olmuştur. Muhammed peygamberin biyografisi de dahil olmak üzere İslam dünyası üzerine[1][2] kapsamlı yazmıştır.

Günümüzde, karısı ve iş ortağı Rose Baring ile Londra'da yaşamaktadır. Klasik seyahat yazılarının yeniden basılmasında yetkinleşmiş Eland Books adlı yayın şirketini çalıştırmaktadırlar.[3] Martin Randall Travel gibi tur şirketlerinde konuşmacı olarak çalışmaktadır,[4]

Eastern Approaches ile Andante ve serbest seyahat yazarı olarak, TLS, Guardian, Independent, House & Garden, Harpers & Queen, Cornucopia, Country Life ve the Daily Telegraph için üçyüz makale ve inceleme kaleme almıştır.[5]

Rogerson ayrıca Life of Muhammad isimli BBC programında[6] ve The Caliph isimli Al Jazeera programında[7] televizyon sunuculuğu yapmıştır.
