Philipp Melanchthon

Philipp Melanchthon (aslen Philipp Schwartzerdt; 16 Şubat 1497, Bretten - 19 Nisan 1560, Wittenberg), Alman filolog, filozof, Hümanist, teolog, ders kitabı yazarı ve şair. Martin Luther'in Alman ve Avrupa Reformuna katkıda bulunan Melanchthon Almanya'nın öğretmeni anlamına gelen "Praeceptor Germaniae" lakabıyla da bilinir.
