Nechama Rivlin

Nechama Rivlin (İbranice: נחמה ריבלין; 5 Haziran 1945 –4 Haziran 2019), İsrail first ladysi ve akademisyendir.[1][2]

Yaşamı

2014’ten 2019’da ölümüne kadar İsrail first lady'si olarak görevdeki İsrail Cumhurbaşkanı Reuven Rivlin'in eşiydi.[3] Çift 1971'de evlenmiş 2019'da ölümüne kadar beraberlikleri sürmüştür. Rivlin 5 Haziran 1945'te Herut, İsrail'de doğdu. Kudüs İbrani Üniversitesi'nden mezun oldu. Daha sonra aynı üniversitede araştırmacı akademisyen olarak zooloji, jeoloji ve genetik bölümlerinde görevini sürdürmüştür.[4][5][6][7][8]

Ölümü

Rivlin'e akciğer hastalığı olan pulmoner fibroz teşhisi kondu, Mart 2019'da bir akciğer nakli geçirdi.[9] [10][11] Rivlin akciğer naklinin neden olduğu sorunlardan dolayı 4 Haziran 2019'da Petah Tikva'da öldü. Ölümüne bir gün sonra 74. doğum günü gerçekleşecekti.[12]
