Joseph Kirkland (d. 5 Nisan 1969), sahne adıyla Diamond D, Amerikalı prodüktör ve rapçidir. New Yorklu rap grubu D.I.T.C.'nin kurucu üyelerinden biridir.

Kariyeri
1980'li yılların sonunda Jazzy Jay'in DJ'i olarak başladı ve turntablism ve beat yapımında kendini geliştirdi. Master Rob ile birlikte Ultimate Force'u kurdu. Jazzy Jay'in Strong City Records şirketiyle anlaşan ikili, 1988'de I'm Not Playin' adını taşıyacak ilk albümünün çalışmalarına başladı ve aynı isimde bir de 12" single çıkardı. Albüm, 1990'da tamamlandı, ancak şirket politikalarına takılan albüm, Strong City'nin dağıtımcısı Uni Records'ın kapanması sonucu rafa kalktı. Albüm, yıllar sonra 2007'de Traffic Entertainment'tan yayınlandı. Ultimate Force'un ayrılmasının ardından, yapımcılar gözlerini Diamond'a çevirdi. Stunts, Blunts and Hip Hop adlı ilk albümünü 1992'de Diamond & the Psychotic Neurotics adını kullanarak piyasaya çıkardı. Bu albüm, en iyi D.I.T.C. solo albümlerinden biri olarak kabul edilmektedir ve Big L ve Fat Joe gibi isimlerin ilk performanslarını sergiledikleri albümlerden biridir. Öyle ki, Diamond D 1993'te Fat Joe'nun ilk albümü Represent'ın prodüktörlüğünü üstlendi.
1996'da Red Hot Organization'ın derleme CD'si America is Dying Slowly'de Wu-Tang Clan, Coolio ve Fat Joe ile birlikte yer aldı. Yaygın AIDS salgını konusunda Afrikalı Amerikalı erkekleri bilinçlendirmek amaçlı kaydedilen bu albüm, The Source dergisi tarafından bir başyapıt olarak gösterildi.
Diamond D'nin ikinci albümü Hatred, Passions and Infidelity, 1997'de piyasaya sürüldü. Busta Rhymes, Fugees, KRS-One, Queen Latifah, the Pharcyde ve Brand Nubian gibi isimlere verdiği altyapılarla o dönem adından sıkça söz ettiren Diamond D, hem batı hem doğu rapçileriyle çalışan ilk prodüktörlerden biridir. Diamond D, 2003'te bağımsız albümü Grown Man Talk'u, 2005'te ise The Diamond Mine adlı mixtape'i çıkardı. Ayrıca D.I.T.C. projelerinde de yer almaya devam etti. 2007'de Natalie Cole'un Aretha Franklin eseri "Day Dreaming" cover'ının prodüksiyonuyla Grammy'ye aday gösterildi.
Diamond D, 2008'de Babygrande Records ile sözleşme yaptı. The Huge Hefner Chronicles adındaki dördüncü albümünü Ekim 2008'de yayınladı. Albümün prodüktörlüğünü bu kez altyapılar yerine rap'lerine odaklanan Diamond'ın yerine Nottz, DJ Scratch, !llmind, Def Jef ve Jesse West gibi isimler üstlendi. 2014'te kendisine ait Dymond Mine Records'tan piyasaya çıkardığı The Diam Piece albümüyle dönüş yaptı. Bu kez tamamının prodüktörlüğünü Diamond D'nin üstlendiği albüme Pharoahe Monch, Fat Joe, Pete Rock, Bumpy Knuckles, Rapsody, The Pharcyde, Kurupt, Hi-Tek ve Masta Ace gibi çok sayıda isim konuk oldu.
