Billy Joel

William Martin Joel (9 Mayıs 1949), Amerikalı rock müzisyeni ve şarkı sözü yazarıdır. Gençliğinde piyano dersleri almış, 1960'lı yıllarda çeşitli rock gruplarında piyano çalmıştır. 1973'te piyasaya çıkan Piano Man adlı şarkısı hit olunca, ismini duyurmuştur.

Just the Way You Are ile 1977'de Grammy Ödülü kazanmıştır. Elton John ile arkadaş olan Joel'in bu müzisyenle birçok düeti bulunmaktadır.

2 Ekim 2004'te kendisinden 33 yaş küçük Kate Lee ile evlenmiştir. Bu Joel'in üçüncü evliliğidir. Daha önceki eşleri ise Elizabeth Weber ve Christie Brinkley'dir.
