Raymond Cattell
Raymond Bernard Cattell (20 Mart 1905 – 2 Şubat 1998) İngiliz ve Amerikalı psikolog, psikolojinin birçok alanında yaptığı keşif ve araştırmalarla tanınmaktadır. Bunlardan en önemlileri, kişilik ve mizacın temel boyutları, motivasyon ve duygunun dinamik boyutları, kişiliğin klinik boyutları, grup ve sosyal davranış kalıpları, psikoterapi ve öğrenme teorisi için kişilik araştırmaları uygulamaları , yaratıcılık ve başarı için belirleyiciler üzerine yaptığı çalışmalardır. Bu alanlarda kullanılmak üzere birden çok bilimsel araştıma metodu da geliştirmiştir.[1] Cattell, 50 kitap, 500 makale, ve yaklaşık 30 standartlaşmış test yöntemi yazmıştır. 20. yüzyılın en çok alıntı yapılan ve en çok etkilenilen psikologları listesinde 16. sırada gösterilmektedir.[2]
