Providence Island Company

Providence Island Company, İngiltere'de merkezli, ticaret alanında faaliyet gösteren anonim şirketti. 1629 yılında bir grup Püriten tarafından kuruldu[1] ve 1631'de Providencia Adası,[2] ilerleyen yıllarda ise Miskito Sahili'ni İngiltere adına kolonileştirdi. 1631'de Tortuga'ya yerleşilse de 1635'teki İspanyol baskını sonrasında ada terk edildi.[3]
